FAQs

What type of band should I use at my event?

American Entertainment Resources provides a wide variety of bands for you to choose from. Click the “Entertainment” button to find music ranging from jazz to classical, or rock-and-roll to new age. Your choice should be based on the size and age of the group, as well as the group’s personal tastes in music.

What do you suggest as entertainment for a party of 30 to 80 guests?

You have a choice of DJ, pianist, harpist, guitarist or a background jazz trio.

I’m having a large, upscale event for 250-500 guests. How should I plan the evening’s entertainment?

Start the first hour with your cocktail reception in the foyer area with light background music performed by a single or duo. As your guests enter into the main room, or ballroom, AER will have the band in place to welcome your guests with light but lively music. This sets the mood for the evening. After your guests have been seated, the band will play softer music to create a pleasant mood, allowing your guests to engage in pleasant conversation. After dessert the band will gear up to a variety of fun dance music for the rest of the evening.

My event usually lasts for three hours. How does the band or entertainment handle breaks?

The musicians will perform for the first hour, then take two 15-minute breaks during the second two hours. While on break, the band will provide background CD music, so, there’s a continuous music for your three-hour minimum of time. Ask for our suggestions for AER’s four-hour continuous non-stop music packages.

Our company would like to have an after-dinner show. What would you suggest?

There are a lot of variables to selecting the right kind of after-dinner show. Some of the most talented acts are located in the Central Florida area because of the many large attractions which draw them here. AER has a large melting pot of talent to choose from. We suggest checking this web site for some of the best entertainment available.

An AER representative will always be on-site to supervise and coordinate your event to ensure you experience a memorable evening.
